Brewster County is the largest “Dark Sky Community” in the world, where people come from all over to view the stars. The bank and post office in Study Butte is in Terlingua Ranch. To the west, it goes to Big Bend State Park, and the South and east to the Big Bend National Park,

Alpine Post Office delivers mail, so we sometimes put Alpine as a town but it is closer to Study Butte.  Taxes are Alpine ISD so as not to be confused.
